In the August 1995 issue of Trains Magazine there was a picture of a six-year old child standing on the platform at a train station (stating the obvious, here). I noticed that the LHS Pom Squad girls held their poms in the same way when they were not cheering (i.e. watching the game). I decided to "merge" one of these girls with a train at the Lawrence, Kan. Amtrak Depot depot. I picked a girl by the name of Allison Foster. The result is in the above pic.

The train is Santa Fe GP60M 156 at the point of the 1995 Topeka Railroad Days excursion. The train photo was taken Saturday, September 2 1995, at the Depot and the picture of Allison was taken September 22 1995 during a Football game.
