This is where the new connection and the old flyover meet. It used to be that to come from Northbound Topeka Boulevard to Westbound 470 (which a lot of people did when it was US 75), you had to cross over the traffic coming from southbound Topeka, and a good part of the Southbound traffic probably had to dodge the NB "crossovers" to get to the Turnpike. Now, all the traffic comes form one direction, making things a little easier. 29 January 1999
