The Stingray was concieved as a 24th Century equivalent of a deckship, along the lines of the M/V Blue Marlin. I made an organic design with a partial profile of a stingray, though the bottom is bulged at the bottom to allow for it's intended purpouse of carrying a damaged ship. The design elements did not go unnoticed when I posted it on lowerdecks.com
