  • rainfall

    Anothe 1.7 inches of rain had fallen since Thurdsay evening, mostly last night. I went over to GCSAA at about 11 last night and found that power had indeed gone off there. One of the racks in the data center had shut down, three of the servers had to be restarted.

  • The Thunder Rolls

    We had a bit of a squall line come through here… just before 9:00, we had a power failure that lasted about an hour. The rain is still going a bit.

  • Very wet

    1.6 inches of rain fell into my rain gauge on Friday. However, that was nothing compared to the 3.4 inches that fell on Saturday. Some places in town got as high as 4 inches, and there was a bit of flash flooding. The Journal-World ran a front-page story on the weather.

    The Mercury topped 100 today, and if the forecast holds up, will do so again tomorrow. I’ll probably stay at home and finish up the web site…. maybe work on my train layout

    Got about .85 inches, with more on the way. However, I won’t be her to report it.

    after briefly taking the sydicati0n off, one of my co-workers noted the fact that I had been syndicating the weather feeds, so I decided to turn them back on :). Word to Tracy….

    Another 1.9 inches fell into the rain gauge as of this writing. A potential for flodding is forecast… The weather service has put us in a flood watch.

    as of 8:00 this morning, 1.9 inches of rain had fallen overnight. There’s probably a little more in the rain gauge since then.

  • More Rain

    As many can tell by the messages left here by the weather office, we had a thunderstorm pass through. Here at home, we had moderate wind, very little (if any) hail, and a lot of rain. I haven’t had a chance to check the rain gauge.
