I’ll save my thoughts on the Tiller Assasination and the latest of the South Lawrence Trafficway for later, today, I have to make a comment on other things.
Recently, I’ve heard advertisments on the radio for online backup service. From my perspective working in IT, I can see it to be effective for many end-users. However, users with a lot of photos (such as myself) will have to deal with bandwidth issues. I have 160GB worth of photos; most internet service providers will raise a red flag if total bandwidth goes over 50 GB, and online backups are clearly incompatible with dial up internet.
I have to wonder if anyone offers assistance in providing an off-line, off-site storage solution. Is there anybody out there, or am I going to have to be a pioneer.
